TERMINATOR: THE SALVATION (2009). We remember: The movie was already in a terrible disappointment ( here my review). And now, with some distance, and cute little expectation BluRay? Hardly a spark better. is with this film is still so much in disorder: Constant action with minimal plot and even less character development, the mindless drawing of the total resistance as a completely military organization (how much more interesting it would have been watching quite normal people here, as they result from the hopelessness out fight and learn to cope with the changed world and their opponents), tone and style break with the earlier (you'll enjoy the emotionless war), and end-time war movie-the-shelf situations (armed with the superior Herumstreunernde! Gangs attack our heroes)! And on top a lot of logic and credibility breaks. Again, a few points to deeper:
- How do Skynet that Kyle Reese is important? How does Skynet that John Connor is important if he still is not the leader of the resistance?
- If Skynet knows that Kyle Reese is important, why will not they bring him to simply, instead of using it only as bait for John Connor?
- If Skynet really want to kill John Connor, why is it then sends a lone Terminator against him in the field when he is sighted in the Skynet-HQ, instead of simply a matter of two dozen robots brisk late to prepare? Why are the terminators
- throw their opponents constantly through the air, instead they simply take away the weapons and thus to do then?
- If Skynet can rig up a so human cyborg appears as Marcus, why it is still struggling with the construction of a bulky T-800 from?
course the BluRay looks fantastic, and thus remain technically perfect two hours duration riot.
